The Halifax Collage Collective will host this hands-on collage night at Dalhousie Art Gallery as part of the programming for the Gallery's current exhibitions, As We Rise: Photography from the Black Atlantic and Allen D. Crooks: Family Matters.

Learn about the importance of collage in contemporary Black art and gather inspiration from over 100 photographs across these two captivating exhibitions.

During the event, participants will have the opportunity to engage in hands-on collage-making, guided by skilled collage artists. Whether you're new to collage or an experienced artist, this evening promises creativity, insight, and community.

Attendance is limited and registration is required. Cash donations will be gratefully accepted on-site, with all proceeds going to the Halifax Collage Collective. The suggested donation is $10 per person.
